ACCOUNT MANAGER

The Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing a customer base and achieving growth projections in a targeted territory. Primary emphasis for this position is to develop relationships with specefic existing customers. This position will develop and qualify new contracts for projects, make sales presentations, quote and bid projects; as well as negotiate contracts for projects with existing clients.

Responsbilites 

  • Develop and implement a plan to take advantage of all sales opportunities within an assigned geographic territory
  • Develop and use an account development plan for each key customer and support customer's goals and objectives
  • Estimate and propose service agreements and facilitate system upgrades
  • Utilize mutually agreed upon goals and objectives as a guide for planning weekly activites 
  • Work within a team to deliver total customer satisfaction
  • Prepare sales activity and forcasting reports 
  • Conduct scheduled QA visits with customers to ensure a high level of satisfaction
  • Keep current on company and competitive products
  • Keep current on local business market trends

Requirements 

  • Minimum 3 years experience in sales
  • Have a good understanding of business fundamentals and be able to articulate technical solutions in business terms to high level buying influences in customers' organizations
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of CRM and or Salesforce.com a plus
